Bill Wilson and Joe Morgan recently spoke at the Tradeline, Inc. "Nanotechnology Research Space - The Next Step" conference at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. The topic "Why Does One Nano Lab Cost More Than Another" discussed six nanotech projects of the firm and illustrated the key cost questions that need to be answered early in the planning process, as well as provided guidelines for making sure the necessary project elements get into the program at the outset. Bill and Joe detailed project cost impacts of many aspects of a nanotech project and they compared the costing of nano-science facilities with conventional lab space.
