Tradeline: Research Conference Participation
01 May 2006

Bill Wilson and Chris Martin presented at Tradeline's Research Conference in Boston. They discussed what private sector and academic research facility users say are the best features of their newly built buildings, what they'd like done differently, and why. What emerged from these evaluations is set of "best ideas" new to both sides that lead to universal features which transcend differences in funding mechanisms, decision-making processes, locations, and research cultures. Bill and Chris demonstrated how these cross-industry "best ideas" and universal planning and design models can be used in recruiting leading researchers in addition to creating lower-cost, flexible, and efficient research spaces.
