The 3 C'sOur design philosophy is to create sustainable buildings and spaces that enable human behavior by focusing on the 3 C's.Campus - buildings are engaged in a dialogue with the past, present and future of a campus. We are guided by strong principals of campus planning when siting and massing buildings, and consider each building to be a rich ensemble of other buildings and outdoor spaces. Community - our buildings have a unique and striking sense of community. Understanding the subtleties of human interaction allows us to shape spaces that foster collaboration and collegiality for the users. Consensus - our projects have a great deal of consensus behind them by involving faculty, students, staff and trustees throughout the process. This is a critical skill in the university setting where every voice matters and where a creative lasting solution is expected. |
