Working directly with the Provost and the Campus Architect, we examined the science buildings on the West Campus of Duke University, and developed a renovation / vacate / new plan. We looked at 15 buildings, totaling 1,050,000 GSF, and developed a plan to add 400,000 GSF in two interdisciplinary buildings, and shuffle the programs around. The plan has three phases, and each phase includes a cycle of moves, vacancies and remodeling.
