The Pop Warner Field House is a 3,800 GSF municipal building to be located at South Boston’s Marine Park. While the meeting hall/equipment storage project was spearheaded by Pop Warner football, the field house offers itself to the entire ‘Southie’ community as a multi-use building. A central location on the site defines a shared congregational space between field house and the Murphy Skating Rink, helping unify the disparate sports and community programs of the park. The design was a collaborative endeavor, in which architect, consultant and contractor all contributed their time and efforts to find an economical solution for the project.
